Connecting Businesses is being organised by corporate service provider A&B Corporate Connect and being held in partnership with Scooploop for Business, software development and video production agency Upbeat Productions and stress management experts Living Life Stress Free.
Guest speaker John Middleton, CEO of Scooploop, who has worked in digital marketing for over two decades, will have expert advice on getting the most from social media and there will be a chance to meet and share stories with new and established businesses from a wide range of sectors.
The event will be a great chance to network and meet members of the Scooploop team. Prosecco, soft drinks and canapes will be served throughout the event.
There is a nominal fee of £10 for entry but all proceeds will be going to Change Please, a homeless charity that helps rough sleepers back into the world of work. It trains homeless people to be baristas and then provides opportunities to work on its mobile coffee vans all over the city for a London Living Wage – giving people vital skills, dignity and a brighter future.
Running a small venture can be very lonely, particularly if you are a start-up just finding your way. We decided to bring like-minded business people together to share their stories so that they can see they are not alone – and raise some money for a wonderful charity at the same time.
